Water is what moves the clay

The expansive clay under most Round Rock neighborhoods swells when it gets wet and shrinks when it dries. When water pools on one side of your slab, that section of clay expands more than the rest of the yard, and the foundation tilts. Control the water and you control most of the movement.

Grading comes first
